Don’t worry if you’re new to growing herbs and cooking, household TV chef Rustie Lee will show you step-by-step in weekly cookalongs including how to care for your basil!

New to gardening and cooking? Worry not! Together TV will walk you step by step through top tips and exclusive videos with TV Chef Rustie Lee for nurturing your basil seedlings and creating simple, tasty dishes.

Along the 8-week journey together, you’ll have the opportunity to improve your gardening skills, learn some simple, new recipes, and connect with others.

What’s so special about this challenge?

Together TV wants you to grow basil and learn recipes to cook from scratch to boost your wellbeing, connect with your community and contribute to a greener planet. They will be guiding first time gardeners and cooks every step of the way with weekly emails. They want you and your basil to grow this year.

Will Together TV supply compost, posts and recipe ingredients too?

They will send you a basil seed pack and a weekly calendar for you to hang on your fridge. They will offer advice on where to find any supplies you might need and often you can use things lying around the house. An empty butter tub is a great pot to sow your seed in (just make sure you make a drainage hole in it)!
