Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust‘s Winchester Local Area Volunteers present The Wildlife of Spain. Join Andy Tucker from award-winning Naturetrek Wildlife Travel to discover Spain’s spectacular scenery and amazing variety of wildlife.
Naturetrek is an award winning wildlife specialist travel company based locally in Hampshire. The leaders are passionate about organizing responsible wildlife experiences around the world. With this talk, Andy will take us on a tour across the Bay of Biscay with dolphins and whales. Then on to the beautiul Cantabrian mountains, majestic Pyrenees, wetlands wilderness and more to see wildlife including brown bears, wildcats, eagles, bustards, cranes, orchids and butterflies with plenty of blue skies! Andy will also discuss the current status of the Iberian lynx and the Iberian wolf both endemic creatures clawing back from the brink of extinction as a result of targeted conservation measures.
