What a fabulous day at the Easter Egg Hunt
What a fabulous day in all respects this Easter Sunday. The sun was shining, the daffodils were nodding and residents were walking around following their chosen maps. We completed the 5k walk; I think our route ended up just shy of that figure and took us one and a half hours. Everyone we met doing their own routes were jolly and enjoying the challenge.
The sites for the stamps we had to collect were clear, the map was well presented and in colour. The helpers at the St Mark’s Hall were welcoming, friendly and helpful. From a participant’s point of view it was perfect which means a lot of work went into the organising.
After our walk we collected a chocolate egg each and a small pack of seeds from the stall next to St Mark’s Hall to plant in our front garden.
Thank you to everyone involved.
