Nominated for their unwavering commitment to environmental protection and the promotion of repair and re-use, Repair Café Winchester brings together a passionate group of skilled volunteers. These remarkable individuals can mend a wide variety of items, from broken appliances to cherished heirlooms. But it’s not just about fixing things; it’s about empowering the community. The team exemplifies the spirit of sustainability by passing on valuable skills, all while fostering a culture of mindful consumption.

Their impact is undeniable:

• 460 participants engaged with the project
• 1,314 hours volunteered by their dedicated team
• 22 events held
• A massive 840 kg of waste prevented
• An impressive 6,485 kg of CO2 emissions reduction
