Club history

Badger Farm Tuesday Bridge Club celebrated its 30th Anniversary in April 2014. It started off as ‘Olivers Battery Bridge Club’ in April 1984 and used to play at St Mark’s Hall with one week a month at St Luke’s Hall in Stanmore. They moved to the Badger Farm Community Centre in November 1986, renamed themselves Badger Farm Bridge Club and have been there ever since. Originally they were in the Whiteshute Room as the room they are now in wasn’t then built. However, occasionally they had so many tables that they had one or two tables playing in the corridor! They moved to the Bushfield Room when the Community Centre was extended.
