Some children sit at tables; other play with a train track at Badger Farm Pre-School

Delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through a variety of play based activities and learning experiences, Badger Farm Pre-School Playgroup holds sessions from 9.15am until 3.00pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and from 9.15am until 12.15pm on Thursday and Friday. It welcomes children from 3 years old to school age and also offers limited spaces for children from the age of 2 years. All children are funded from the term after their third birthday and the pre-school is registered as a provider for 2 year old funding if applicable.

Ideally situated in the Community Centre, the pre-school use the sports hall for physical play and has an all-weather outside area with a variety of play equipment. The staff are highly experienced and qualified and a high ratio of 1:6 for 3/4 year olds enables plenty of individual time and attention.  There is a ratio of 1:4 for 2 year olds.

Staff are qualified, experienced and knowledgeable about how children learn. They provide children with a good range of activities to engage and motivate them. Children are kind and caring towards one another and behave well. Staff are positive role models and this helps to create a relaxed and homely environment where children settle happily. Ofsted 2018
