Sustainability events for Spring 2022
Make life more sustainable for Badger Farm and Oliver’s Battery
We have joined forces with Badger Farm Parish Council, Oliver’s Battery Parish Council, Sustainable Oliver’s Battery Group and Badger Farm Sustainability Group to host a series of activities around what we can do in our homes and parishes. The second and third of three joint sustainability events for Spring 2022 will be on 12 February and 12 March.
Keeping warm

Saturday 12 February 10.30am – 12.30pm at Badger Farm Community Centre (Bushfield/Warren room – access from the car park).
Activities will be themed around KEEPING WARM. We will be looking at the energy efficiency of homes and what you can do to help improve it. New greener means of heating. Clothing – what is the warmest and least environmentally damaging?
We also have information on electric bikes – getting places while getting warm without the slog!
Seed swap
Saturday 12 March 9am – 12 noon at St Mark’s Church, Oliver’s Battery.
We will be looking forward to Spring with a SEED SWAP and tips on growing food. More information to follow.
Get involved
It is only with your help we can all make a difference. Big or small, every step will help everyone today and tomorrow.
If you can’t make it, but want to hear more or have any suggestions for activities you’d like to put on around these themes or suggest future ones contact us on bfsustainability@gmail.com or obsustainability@gmail.com. Or contact your councillors directly – Cllr Ali Cochrane cllr.a.cochrane@badgerfarm-pc.gov.uk or Cllr Sarah McColl cllr.s.mccoll@badgerfarm-pc.gov.uk.
VOLUNTEERS ALWAYS WELCOME
