Get involved in Hampshire Together’s Modernising our Hospitals and Health Services programme
About the Modernising our Hospitals and Health Services programme

You may be aware that the Hampshire Together: Modernising our Hospitals and Health Services programme is part of the government’s 40 new hospitals programme.
It has the objective, not only of delivering a new hospital for the people in north and mid Hampshire, but also of improving the way health services themselves are organised. In so doing the programme is making sure that the NHS can provide outstanding care for every patient for generations to come.
Hampshire Together are currently seeking to extend the membership of their Patient Participation Group to make sure it is representative of our geographic areas and the populations they serve. At the meetings community and voluntary group representatives will have the opportunity to hear about and provide feedback on the programme, as well as on the plans for communicating and engaging with our local populations. This feedback is used to inform the development of the programme’s plans and ensure are reaching and engaging with our local communities in the most effective ways. It is not a decision-making forum, but its role is incredibly important and will directly help shape the future of this vital project.
Get involved through our focus group
BFOBRCA would like to put together a focus group with people from both Badger Farm and Oliver’s Battery to represent the views of our community in this programme. If you are interested in learning more about the focus group or are interested in joining, please email bfobrca.manager@gmail.com.
