Care Choices is an organisation that works with local authorities to produce social care information guides. These are designed to support you and your family in the choices you need to make when you are looking for care. Care Choices have now published the Dementia Friendly Hampshire Guide 2020. This is a practical guide to living with dementia in Hampshire. The guide explores all aspects of living with dementia: the different types of dementia, the changes it brings to your life and how you can plan care. It also has a list of useful contacts in and around Hampshire.

One of the contacts listed is our own Home Instead Central Hampshire Badger Farm Dementia Activity Group. Due to Covid-19, this group is not meeting at the moment. We look forward to when we are able to welcome them back to the Community Centre. We hope that they able to offer support to people with dementia and their carers sooner rather than later.
