Winchester Model & Engineering Society

Winchester Model & Engineering Society (or WM&ES) is a group of people with wide interests which include, but are not limited to, models and engineering. We also run a model steam train at local events, giving rides to children of all ages.

The Winchester Model and Engineering Society’s miniature railway is a popular attraction at many local shows and fêtes. Its 105 foot track was built by members of the society in 1968 and is still used to run both steam and electric engines.

Members of the society meet at the Badger Farm Community Centre on the first Friday of the month (except May, June, July and August) from 7.00pm to 10.00pm to listen to speakers on various topics.
