Come and join the Peter Symonds College AHED Gentle Therapeutic Yoga Class at the Badger Farm Community Centre on Tuesdays from 1.30pm to 3.00pm. Led by Christine Giles, the course is based on Hatha Yoga. It aims to reduce tension, improve mobility, increase strength and stamina and help physical and mental health. Its goal is to help people reduce pain and discomfort, become fitter, calmer and more relaxed.
Christine has studied yoga with the Friends of Yoga Society and has been teaching Hatha Yoga since 2006 in several village halls around Winchester. Christine’s classes consist of asanas (postures) for all levels of students which provide great physical and mental benefits. The classes also include breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation.

Also really like the low lighting and music; Christine is a great tutor, who offers many alternatives to the exercises to accommodate all learners; Really enjoyed the class. Christine is a knowledgeable yoga tutor and her guidance and patience during classes is appreciated; The teacher is very good and I am enjoying the course; The tutor is absolutely splendid. She paces each class just right and encourages each member of the class. She includes a lovely balance between postures and meditation/ relaxation; Christine is an excellent teacher, fully aware of my mobility limitations, giving good support and instruction to meet my needs.
